A Passion to Preserve
The preservation of vernal pools, woodlands and natural habitat is of the highest importance to the developer. For over 30 years, Jack has demonstrated a unique ability to “listen to the land” to place roads, preserve unique tree specimens and create minimal disturbance to plants and wildlife. Prior to groundbreaking, most native plants and wildflowers were even relocated to a safe zone.
Leaving over 50% of open space at Wild Ridge was a mandatory goal set early on, ensuring that people and nature could thrive together. With this accomplished, Jack then designed Wild Ridge to feature multiple access points to an additional 51-acre National Wildlife Nature Preserve. This allows Wild Ridge to be surrounded by 113 acres of nature to enjoy and explore.
